    Local Palawan Philippine volunteers along with a U.S. Marine with Combat Engineer Platoon, Marine Winged Support Squadron 172, pass each other buckets containing concrete, needed for laying the foundation of a new classroom being built for the Elementary School of Maoyon in Palawan, Philippines during one of two Humanitarian Civic Assistance projects leading up to Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX 15) on September 15, 2014. PHIBLEX 15 is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include disaster relief and contingency operations.
