A U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft from Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass., sits on the flightline during the 2014 Wings of Freedom Open House, Sept. 13, 2014. The C-5 is the Air Force’s largest aircraft and is capable of carrying 270,000 pounds of cargo. It was also stationed at Altus AFB from 1969 to 2007. There were multiple static display aircraft lined across the flightline for spectators to observe inside and out while waiting for the aerial demonstrations to begin.
