Army Reserve drill sergeant Staff Sgt. Christopher Croslin, 95th Training Division (IET), requests to enter the formal board on day four of the 2014 Army Drill Sergeant of the Year competition held at Fort Jackson, S.C. Competitors at the competition spent four grueling days being evaluated on their ability to perform and instruct Warrior Tasks. Croslin and Sgt. 1st Class Alex Montero, 98th Training Division (IET), both from the 108th Training Command (IET), are fighting for the title of Army Reserve Drill Sergeant of the Year.
