Pfc. Clayton Grose, from Pickerel, Wisconsin, fires an M9A1 9 mm service pistol in the standing position from the seven-yard line Aug. 26 during combat marksmanship training at Camp Hansen. This position was one of four the Marines trained on during the course of fire. Other positions included sitting, prone and from their back.
