Pfc. Alexander Neyens, a cook with the 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, and a native of Dubuque, Iowa, and Pvt. Carmon Alexis, a cook with Headquarters Troop, Regimental Support Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, and a native of West Palm Beach, Fla., chop potatoes Sept. 2 at a dining facility on the Grafenwoehr Training Area. During the two-week 2014 U.S. Army Europe Expert Field Medical Badge event, a team of Army cooks prepared upwards of 2,100 meals a day for candidates and support personnel.
