Spc. Mark Reihl, a military policeman assigned to the Military Police Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Special Troops Battalion, provides personal security for members of an explosive ordnance disposal unit, Aug. 21, 2008, while they search for munitions in an abandoned house in the Abu T'shir neighborhood of southern Baghdad. Reihl, a native of Watertown, Conn., is currently serving a 12-month deployment with the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
