U.S. Army Capt. Manuel Bucardo coaxes a Honduran child to take de-wormer medication during a medical readiness training exercise Aug. 25-28 in the remote village of Rio Platano, Department of Gracias a Dios, Honduras. MEDEL partnered with the Honduran Ministry of Health and the Honduran military to provide classes for the patients to teach them about hygiene, nutrition, and preventative dental practices.
