A Marine with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit plays with local children following a joint engineering project conducted by Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th MEU, and the 5th Engineer Squadron, Royal Malaysian Engineer Regiment in Tanjung Labian, Malaysia, as part of Malaysia-United States Amphibious Exercise 2014. During the project, engineers refurbished bleachers, sepak takraw courts, and the local community center. MALUS AMPHEX 14 is a bilateral exercise between the 11th MEU and Malaysian Armed Forces designed to foster and sustain cooperative and international relationships with emphasis on amphibious and humanitarian operations within the context of a stability and security operation.
