U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Tim Whiting, a public health nurse with the Southern Partnership Station 2014 Medical Engagement Team, assists handing out medication during a Medical Civil Action Program (MEDCAP) in the Izabal District. The Medical Engagement team assists the Brigada de Infanteria de Marina medical staff and the Guatemalan Ministry of Health during the Medical Civil Action Program held at Tres Millas, Guatemala, Aug. 23, 2014. SPS 14 is a combined joint exercise focused on subject matter expert exchanges with partner nations and security forces as well as military to military engagements and community relations projects in Central America.
