The parents of five-year-old Abdulrahman, an Iraqi boy diagnosed with congenital epidermolysis bullosa, take care of the painful sores and blisters covering their son's body using medical supplies donated from the United States. The family was inside the Iraqi army clinic on Camp Mejid in Iraq's Al Anbar province, Feb. 16, to receive the supplies and receive care instructions from U.S. and Iraqi doctors. The boy's condition is extremely rare and affects about one in 5 million persons, and there is no long-term care.
