    Lt. Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. (center) answers questions from the Marines of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment (Reinforced) and Combat Logistics Battalion 3, the ground and logistics combat elements of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, during a visit to Camp Barber, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Feb. 5. Dunford is the deputy commandant for plans, policies and operations for the Marine Corps. Dunford and Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James F. Amos visited the Marines to get their perspective on the progress being made in southern Afghanistan. U.S. Marines are in Afghanistan to reinforce success and sustain the momentum of the ongoing progress by alliance forces.
