Lt. Carlos Torrespablos, director of the Professional Mariner's Department at Training Support Center (TSC), explains how Navy students are taught to read charts and plot courses to 10 student interns from the Republic of Korea (ROK) Parliament at Operations Specialist/Quartermaster A School, Aug. 4. Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) hosted the visit by the interns and their escorts as part of a cultural exchange between college student interns from the ROK Parliament and the United States Congress. The interns spend 19 days in the United States while their U.S. congressional counterparts do the same in the Republic of Korea. (U.S. Navy photo by Scott A. Thornbloom/Released)
