U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jason Hughes a pararescueman also known as PJ (para-jumper) assigned to the (Pararescue/Guardian Angels) from Davis-Monthan AFB provides medical treatment to a patient during simulated mass casualty combat training scenario July 30, 2014 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The PJs are responsible for providing emergency and life-saving services to military personnel in both peacetime and combat environments, they go behind enemy lines before anyone else to set on a drop zone/air field and help call in fire support.
