Staff Sgt. Derick Dillard, of Naperville, Ill., photographs an Iraqi man using the HIIDE (handheld, interagency, identity, detection equipment) system during a population census in Yusifiyah, Jan. 21. The system allows MND-B Soldiers to identify and tally the population of a given area. Dillard is a platoon sergeant in Company D, 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, Multi- National Division – Baghdad.
