Members of the Honduras special operations team climb over one of 10 obstacles in the Fuerzas Comando 2014 final event, July 29, at Fort Tolemaida, Colombia. Each of the 17 teams from nations throughout the Western Hemisphere had to clear the entire obstacle course in the best time possible, with the winner earning 200 points to their tally. The Fuerzas Comando competition was first established in 2004, and continues to build the required capacity to confront common threats that cannot be defeated by traditional military means alone.
