Michael Stoddard of Ypsilanti, Mich., heavy construction equipment operator, 2nd Platoon, 523rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, operates a hydraulic excavator to move gravel during the construction of Combat Outpost Irbil, Jan. 18. The COP is on the outskirts of Irbil, Iraq, and will be the new home for the Border Transition Team 4100 and several other units when Camp Zaytun is turned over to the Iraq ministry of interior.
