    U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South

Staff Sgt. Steven Superville, a communications chief with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, was raised in a Trinidadian household and is scheduled to meet with Key Personnel from Trinidad during a Tour of the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), July 25, 2014. Superville was working as a DJ after he graduated from Miami South Ridge High School when he decided he needed to join the Marine Corps. Superville left for boot camp Jan. 15, 2001, and is currently serving in the Logistics Combat Element for SPMAGTF-South as America travels around South America on her maiden transit, “America visits the Americas.” Ships like the America are what provide the Navy-Marine Corps team the ability to be the right force, in the right place at the right time.
