The ADTs are made up of Guard SOldiers and Airmen that have a civilian background in farming or agriculture-related businesses and have been working with local Afghani officials to rebuild Afghanistan's agricultural infrastructure and promote sustainable farming techniques. The press conference included Vaughn, Secretary of the Army Pete Geren and via satellite from Afghanistan Col. Stan Poe, commander of the ADT in East Ghazni province, and Sultan Hussein Abasyar, Ghazni province director of agriculture, irrigation and livestock.
