Maj. Gen. Charles L. Hudson, middle, presents Col. James G. Flynn with an American flag “for his faithful and devoted service” July 11 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. During the ceremony, Flynn also received a Legion of Merit award. Flynn celebrated his retirement after 25 years of service to the Marine Corps following the transfers of his duties as commanding officer of MCAS Futenma to Col. Peter N. Lee.
