Second Lt. Bret A. Gibbons, commander of the 163rd, unfurls his company's flag at the Army Reserve Center in Irvine, Calif., as a symbolic gesture his unit has returned home. When Gibbons, a graduate of Cal State University Channel Island, isn't commanding the 163rd he runs his own business repairing antique watches in Ventura county.
