Staff Sgt. Jason J. Garza, 419th Transportation Company motor transport operator from Salt Lake City, Utah, removes lint from Spc. David Bass', also a 419th motor transport operator from Salt Lake City, uniform before Bass' board appearance at the 2014 U.S. Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Forty-two junior enlisted Soldiers and noncommissioned officers throughout the Reserve are competing in the event, which challenges their physical, mental, and tactical abilities, to win Reserve Soldier and NCO of the year.
