Heather Behnert, a dentist and commander of the 810th Medical Company, 49th Multifunctional Medical Battalion based in Cary, N.C., following his first dental check-up ever in his life. The dental check-up was part of Innovative Readiness Training exercise Southern Care 2014, a civil-military program designed to improve military readiness while providing quality medical/dental services at no cost to residents of Southern Illinois.
