A change of command ceremony is a military tradition that represents the formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from one commanding or flag officer to another. Since Sept. 11, 2001, the 108th Wing has deployed Airmen around the globe in support of Operation's Iraqi Freedom, Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
