Sgt. Andre T. Diaz operates a backhoe to dig a pond so the unstable water can be used to produce potable water April 27 in Crow Valley, Philippines. Diaz is a heavy equipment operator and is attached to 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
