Retired Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) 1st Class John Kramer takes aim during the first day of competition for the 2014 Wound Warrior Team Navy Trials in the gym on board Naval Station Norfolk June 4. The Franklin, Ohio, native and 2002 graduate of Franklin High School is also participating in basketball and volleyball. Wounded Warrior athletes began arriving in Norfolk on May 31 and are finishing June 7. The Navy Trials are a precursor to the Warrior Games, an annual athletic competition hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee that brings together more than 200 wounded warriors from all branches of military service.
