Sgt. Jeremy Amis (behind flag) and Sgt. Jeffrey Anderson, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, raise the brigade colors during the transfer of authority ceremony Dec. 1 between the 56th IBCT and the 39th IBCT. The 56th IBCT assumed the Victory Base Defense mission from the 39th IBCT. This marks the Arrowhead Brigade's second deployment to Iraq in support of the Global War on Terror.
