Cpl. Jordan Heiselman, mountain warfare instructor, rides a mule on a saddle, which was modified by rope during an animal packing refresher course hosted at the MCMWTC stables, Tuesday. The period of instruction demonstrated how a method of wrapping rope on a packing saddle could allow for riding in the case of someone being injured and cannot walk.
