Newly frocked third-class petty officers wait to be warded during a frocking ceremony aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. Two hundred fifty-four Sailors were promoted to the next paygrade ship-wide. Theodore Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing 8 are on deployment in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
