Soldiers from and attached to the Portland, Maine-based 133rd Engineer Battalion compete in a “friendly” game of volleyball April 19 at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. With engineers working long hours in the combat zone, leadership with the 133rd Engineer Battalion set aside four hours each Saturday for the 133rd Olympics in which troops relieve stress through events designed to assist with their resiliency. Events include such activities as horse shoes, cribbage tournaments, races and competitive sports which build teamwork and camaraderie.
