Lisa Sulenes (right), a food service specialist for the Independence, Kan.-based 1011th Quartermaster Company, assists Soldiers with filling out paperwork for a free issue of supplies at the Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan retrosort yard April 22. On various designated days of the week, troops with the 1011th QM Company run a free issue of supplies at the retrosort yard to ensure items recovered as bases have transitioned are not disposed of but go back to troops who need them in theater. Soldiers who come to the free issue can look through supplies such as ink cartridges, pens and other items, pick out what they need, fill out some paperwork and take the items with them.
