Cpl. Nathan D. Grodhaus, a Columbus, Ohio, native and mortarman with Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, presents the first piece of cake to Col. Charles Waterhouse during a cake-cutting ceremony at Salmagundi Arts Club. Forty Marines were invited to attend a dinner and special viewing of Waterhouse's artwork. The 22nd MEU was in New York to support the reopening of the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, and to participate in Veterans Day events.
