Infantrymen assigned to Company A, 1st Battalion, 157th Infantry Regiment, Colorado Army National Guard, conduct air assault training at Fort Carson, Colo., Nov. 14, 2008, with the help of 2nd Battalion, 135th Aviation Regiment. In less than a minute, the squad quickly tossed out their ruck sacks from the Black Hawk, moved a few feet past their gear, dropped down and began scanning their sectors of fire for enemy activity while the aircraft took off.
