Senior Airman Jorgette Chuang displays the perfect fit of her mouth guard and dental cast at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Feb. 19, 2014. The process of making a mouth guard takes approximately one hour and is completed at the dental laboratory in the dental clinic. The laboratory produced 1,300 appliances last year, including, sports guards, gold crowns, dentures, and porcelain crowns. Chuang is a 375th Dental Squadron dental laboratory technician.
