Soldiers from the Maryland Army National Guard's Recruit Sustainment Program visited several of the war memorials in Washington, April 12, 2014. The RSP introduces new National Guard recruits to the fundamentals of Army tradition and discipline before they complete their basic and military occupational specialty training. The enlistees visited the Vietnam War, World War II, Korean War and Iwo Jima memorials to get a better sense of the heritage and tradition of which they are now a part. (Photo by Sgt.
