Marine pilots with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 are reunited with family as they return to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, April 17. The Checkerboards deployed aboard the USS Harry S. Truman in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, maritime security operations and security cooperation efforts with various countries throughout the Middle East. VMFA-312’s last mission also marked the last F/A-18 Hornet support of OEF.
