Staff Sgt. Diaz is a squad leader in Company A, 3rd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Diaz' Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers conduct security patrols in Sha'ab in support of the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 3rd BCT, 4th Inf. Div., and often stop to interact with the population and provide gifts to children and families.
