Maj. Gen. Bill Caldwell (left), commander, 82nd Airborne Division, awards Chief Warrant Officer Charles Folk, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior pilot, 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Abn. Div., the Distinguished Flying Cross during a ceremony Nov. 8 at the 82nd Aviation Brigade Headquarters. Folk was one of four aviators from the squadron to receive the medal for valorous conduct during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
