Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines take cover as MV-22 Ospreys fly overhead to drop Marines off for vertical assaults April 2 during Ssang Yong 14 at an abandoned training range in Pohang, Republic of Korea. Forward-deployed and forward-based U.S. Marine forces, in conjunction with our allies, have the unique ability to provide rapid force deployment for the full range of military operations, specifically in the Pacific region.
