Dingler reads Wyatt’s citation during an award ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 2, 2014. Wyatt received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with combat distinguishing device. He triaged, treated, and stabilized 32 urgent Afghan National Army, police and civilian casualties, saving numerous lives and significantly preserving combat power during the summer fighting season in Sangin District, Helmand province, Afghanistan, during his 2013 deployment.
