Lt. Col. Terry W. Partin, chaplain, is assigned to the Laurel-based 184th Sustainment Command, Mississippi Army National Guard. He began working with the Camp Shelby ministry team in June 2007, only taking a break to deploy to Iraq in 2009-2010 with the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team. He becomes the full-time pastor of Memorial Baptist Church, New Augusta, Miss., next week. Master Sgt. Vincent E. Burnwell, Pearl, serves as the State Chaplain Assistant, Joint Force Headquarters, Mississippi National Guard. Burnwell is a 19-year veteran of the Pearl Police Department, and has served on combat tours to Saudi Arabia and Iraq with the 112th Military Police Battalion and the 114th Military Police Company, Mississippi Army National Guard.
