Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a Special Operations Training Group exercise as part of Realistic Urban Training Marine Expeditionary Unit (RUTMEUEX) 14-1 at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., March 18.The purpose of the course was to hone skills and tactics while training others, role-playing as a different military service, their ways of fighting. The SOTG exercise was one of the many training evolutions that took place during the RUTMEUEX in preparation for the MEU’s scheduled deployment this summer.
