Staff Sgt. Kristopher Verrett, a Fort Myers, Fla., native, leads his Soldiers down a side street while on patrol in the Rashidyah Nahia, northeast of Baghdad, Sept. 4, 2008 to assist the government of Iraq with security in this area. Verrett serves as an infantry squad leader with Company B, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment "Wolfhounds," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
