Wayne White, a tactical air control party airman from the New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing, uses a radio to communicate with pilots in order to coordinate an air strike Feb. 25 at the Barry Goldwater Air Force Range, Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field, Ariz. Gila Bend's expansive bomb range offers tactical air control party airmen a training environment where they can simulate scenarios they may find while deployed.
