A Royal Thai Marine gets in position to provide security after disembarking an MV-22B Osprey tilt rotor aircraft for helicopter assault and jungle patrolling training during Exercise Cobra Gold at Camp Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand on Feb. 12. U.S. Marines and Royal Thai Marines conducted bilateral air assault and jungle patrolling training to learn each others operating procedures and increase operational ability. Cobra Gold, in its 33rd iteration, demonstrates the U.S. and the Kingdom of Thailand's commitment to our long-standing alliance and regional partnership, prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
