Artillerymen with the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, work together to hone in on their target as one of their rounds fired by a 105mm Howitzer artillery gun strikes close Jan. 30, 2014 at joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The day brought unseasonably warm temperatures to the area, and the Spartan Steel Battalion took full advantage of the pleasant weather conditions to certify in all artillery skill sets, further validating the unit’s ability and readiness.
