Pilots from throughout the Coast Guard participate in a briefing at the Aviation Training Center in Mobile, Ala., prior to being deployed into effect areas in southwest Louisiana and southeast Texas following the landfall of Hurricane Ike, Sept. 14, 2008. The Coast Guard deployed additional search and rescue aircraft from numerous air stations from throughout the Coast Guard to aid in search and rescue response for the citizens of Texas and Louisiana.
