Chief Builder Craig Witts checks Chief Steelworker Chad Roberts, both of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Two Five (NMCB-25), for wounds in a simulated improvised explosive device (IED) attack during the Counter-IED (C-IED) course at the Gulfport Home Station Training Lane in Gulfport, Miss., Jan. 16. The training familiarizes personnel with C-IED tactics, techniques, and procedures, improving battlefield effectiveness and readying them for worldwide deployment.
