Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. not only had a significant impact on the civil rights movement but also the human rights movement. King’s guiding beliefs as a nonviolent advocate is similar to our warrior ethos. He stood up for the voiceless regardless of race, religion, gender, national origin or color.
