Marine's leadership helps earn combat meritorious promotion

Gunnery Sgt. Brent R. Sheets, the motor transportation operations chief with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, was combat meritoriously promoted to his current rank, Dec. 2, 2013. Sheets, a 30-year-old native of China Grove, N.C., said his success is measured by the success of his Marines.
