Sgt. 1st Class Dustin Gothrup, Yorktown, Ind., receives the Indiana Distinguished Service Cross from Maj. Gen. Lonnie Culver during a ceremony at 38th Infantry Division Armory, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. Gothrup helped respond to a vehicle accident July 2011 while at a funeral for a fellow veteran.
